Custom Jacket Quotation Checklist for Clothing Brands
Compare OEM jacket quotations using the same fabric, lining, fit, trims, artwork, quantity and shipping scope instead of unit price alone.

01
Define the material specification
State shell composition, fabric weight, finish, lining and padding requirements. A glossy photograph does not establish whether a fabric is nylon, polyester or another fiber, and a jacket silhouette does not prove waterproof performance.
02
Specify fit and construction
Include chest, length, shoulder and sleeve measurements, size grading, pocket layout and closure details. Clarify which details are mandatory and which can be proposed by the factory.
03
List every branding component
Provide logo files with dimensions and placement. List main labels, care labels, size labels, hangtags and packaging separately so each supplier quotes the same scope. Decoration complexity and trim quantities can affect the final quotation.
04
Compare quantities and commercial scope
Compare the same quantity per style and color. Ask whether sampling, material development, packaging, inspection and freight are included or quoted separately. Confirm the delivery destination and trade terms in writing.
05
Agree the sample and approval record
Confirm sample cost, revision scope and timing before development starts. Keep the approved sample, measurement chart and material details with the order record. Ask for a project-specific schedule after specifications are agreed.
